Style 02A - Two Inch Beveled "Lightning Cube" Sculptures
These
beautiful sculptures are similar to our regular Style 2 cubes,
but they have polished beveled edges that further enhance their beauty. We carefully
irradiated all six faces with a high-power
electron beam to inject trillions of electrons deep inside. We then carefully discharged them to create a series
of discharges that form a "cube within a cube" - a set of three-dimensional
discharges instead of a single flat 2-D layer of charge. Most
sculptures show discharges
along the planes, parallel to the cube faces - a cube of
lightning-like discharges within a jewel-like cube. Some sculptures may
also show
discharge tendrils heading upwards through the center of the cube. The
internal discharge planes are located about 3/8" below the surface.
The following images fail to fully capture the
depth, clarity, and detail of these gorgeous sculptures. When illuminated
by a multicolor or white LED base, these become sparkling jewels
as the captured lightning brightly glows from within. Internal reflections further add to the complexity and
beauty of the discharges. Laser crystal art can't begin to match the
exquisite detail and intricate fractal complexity of the thousands of fractal

internal discharge patterns vary considerably between specimens. Some
specimens will have heavier, bushier discharges, while others will have
lighter, lightning-like discharges. Your satisfaction is always
guaranteed.
